so now thats a bit of depressing news,

we are caught here in this dimension in our delusion, remember the buddha saying life is suffering, though he shows us the noble eightfold path to end this suffering ,

and then many teachers tell us about how our reality will be crushed to pieces when we leave this body ,the fear of death before we go and the overwhelming shock of a world we are not prepared to experience, resulting in an endless trap of rebirth after rebirth.

as a young adult i was fascinated by a japanese gardener ,fukuoka, who thaught the art of gardening by non doing, which strangely resonated with me at that time, being rather lazy then,as it seemed to be an escape of all the crazyness around me.

now some 40 years later i learned about gardening and non duality but still am undecided of the way as we humans cultivate the earth versus the abundance of a pristine environment like a native jungle.

anyway thanks for your clear and honest teaching robert,i really do appreciate it!

may all beings awaken

It seems depressing to me as well, up to the point where we discover that we can do something about it, realizing that there is really no reason to be so much at the mercy of this great tempest. Even great masters practice until they are fully enlightened. May all beings awaken indeed!

Yay I just purchased The Frog. Can't wait till it arrives in New Zealand. It would be nice if there could be less suffering, more healing in this crazy world. Thank you so much.

There is one thing I would like to ask you, Robert: Most people who undergo an NDE, and I have read several hundreds of them, report experiences that are closer to merging with/becoming the Absolute than the bardo ordeal Buddhism has spoken about. What is the reason? Could it be that they haven´t go as far in the dying process as required to experience it?

If the answer is in your "Timeless Luminosity", just refer to it, because I am going to buy it right now. Thank you anyway:)

Yes, I explain that in Timeless Luminosity. It can be a little bit confusing; because, when we have an Absolute experience, all belief is shed. In Buddhism, the death experience has been extensively studied for hundreds of years. Some masters have written texts, and there are practices people can learn.

This experience of becoming the light is something we can experience in the death bardo, if we are prepared for that. It's really about experiencing what we really are. Many people describe turbulence or energy, or any number of things imagined, such as heaven or hell, or dark void, something similar to what they believe. That is more when we are still close to our lives, when mind has not yet merged with our Real Nature. It's the energetic dimension that surrounds us. Some texts describe how the Dharmakaya will seem like a flash of light, before we are propelled into another life by our karma.

My experiences proved to be in line with Buddhism; although, it was a bit unusual to have it described the way that I described it. The important point to understand about Buddhism is that it is about discovering reality. This is something you must do for yourself. Others cannot do that for you. It's not about belief, it's more about observing mind and discovery, in order to awaken to what is, as it is.

Thank you for your support. I hope you enjoy my work.
