Btw, dear lama Robert, would you do us a favor and give us ( in one of your next video) some pointers towards the nature's of the mind. So that we can come back to it when we feel we have lost 'the view'? Thank you 🙏
I've been forced to do a lot of shadow work recently. I know it's worth it but man does it hurt.
I'm someone who is alone a lot of the time. I'm disabled and don't get out much. But i'm also a writer and reader and really enjoy my alone time, which has helped me spiritually even though it's also not been easy and has really tested me, a lot. It is worth it, I know that.
Examining mind is crucial. When we do this, when we look within, we find ways to remove all the obstacles that are preventing us from awakening. It is part of the ultimate methodology for getting real. I'm glad you are making the effort. In time you will awaken.
Not sure I told you already but thank you for having decided to come back and deliver your message 🩷. Just one question when you say 'open heart and mind'. What mind are you talking about because in the West mind is usually understood as intelect. I know Buddhist put something else behind the word ‘mind' might be good you tell us about it 🙏
Mind, as in how we conceptualize, think, judge everything from a relative point of view, is not really different in the East and West. The only difference is that in the West there is a materialistic component, something found within the brain that we can measure by looking at electrical impulses an neurons. Buddhism does not place the mind in the brain, simply because the understanding of mind is much more advanced. The brain is just a transmitter that our body uses with mind. I also differentiate that from the Nature of Mind, which is beyond all limitations, something more related to the idea of Ultimate Reality. Mind utilizes relative reality, which is always something quite limited. If I am referring to mind, it is from the Buddhist point of view. Mind can also be considered to be one of the five elements in Tibetan Buddhism. Because of mind, we think that everything is real. When we examine mind, we discover that there is nothing to find. We also start to realize that we label everything, rather than seeing all phenomena as empty or as it is. When we work with mind, gazing inwardly, we start to see the magical display of this world around us, we start to see the illusory nature of samsara.

I will be happy to do so. I'll plan to do that as well in my next newsletter essay and poem.
Thank you 🙏
