I think the problem with ideologies, politics, thought systems, with everything that comes strictly from a human stance, is that they lack a spiritual, profound, eternal root out of the worldly matters. They act at the same level that problems are created, so they might do some temporary good, but they fail in the long term. And being a good individual requires, not a sustained political or social stance, but the understanding of the impersonal in us. Then, being "good" comes as the only possible consequence.
