Robert, I totally agree and understand that the root of every relative problem lies in ignorance of our Absolute Reality. And even when we are correct about a particular relative issue, there is the danger of creating a false identity based on that "correct individual".

But global awakening is not here, nor in the near future. And up until that moment, those of us who at some level understand Ultimate Reality have to face relative problems in the relative world too, which sometimes, as is the case now, might end up in a dystopian, transhumanist, totalitarian world. I totally know through my lifetime meditative insights that my true identity is not within this game of light and sound we call "Universe". But I still struggle to remain established in the Beyond when I see that the world on planet Earth could become hell for those who still live here or reincarnate in the future, if the tyrannical plans suceed, which is a real possibility.

So my question is, how to find a balance? I don´t want to (and I won´t) lose my transcendental anchor, but I can´t be totally oblivious of worldly affairs while I am in this incarnated state. Do you have any advice?

Thank you:)

I recall reading a story some years ago, about Buddha Shakyamuni standing in the path of an army that had been marching off to war. This greatly affected the commanding general; and, so, they turned back. This is an example of a fully enlightened being, appearing in the world, fully integrating his physical presence in order to bring about benefit for beings. It would be a mistake to try to completely isolate ourselves from the world as we cultivate Bodhicitta. We must remain present, providing help when we can, not judging those who are deluded in a way that would cause them more harm than they are already causing themselves. We find balance when we start to see things as they are. I would recommend practicing meditation on a city bus or some other public place that jostles you around. Observe the world carefully. Watch beings as they go about their busy day. Become accustomed to that, without judgement. Learn to see all beings with great compassion. Look at their faces, see what they are going through. In time, we develop a more gentle way of existing in this world, one that brings peace and benefit wherever we go.

That´s a good, helpful answer, Robert. Thank you very much. Furthermore, in my case I´d also say that the tyrannical powers have a role too, which is reducing the world´s spell, making it less desirable, making you remember that neither your ultimate identity nor your happiness reside in the Universe.
