Please learn the difference between impulsiveness and intuition. Your impulsive side always makes bad decisions. Your intuitive side always makes very good decisions. If you can learn how to make decisions without error, paying special attention to your inner wisdom, you can develop a sort of indestructible confidence that will help you at every turn.
Since awakening means discovering reality beyond intellectual constraints, beyond any type of limitations, without any remaining obstructions, we must know how to proceed in this endeavor, and to have the confidence you need in order to awaken. This means engaging in your own enlightenment mind right from the start, paying attention to your Buddha Nature and knowing how to utilize that wisdom to navigate right up until the time you become fully enlightened. This rather obtainable quality may be the most important thing to know as you step onto the Spiritual Path.
