I’m starting to realize that I hop around when I talk. Maybe writing a book like The Frog is appropriate for me. It seems a little bit crazy, but not so much if you are a genuine Spiritual Practitioner, who is someone who has learned to cut through all the clutter of mind. We must face amazing obstacles; and, when we do that, it seems pretty nuts by the standards of the world.
It was important to help my students and teachers from past lifetimes by writing something that could jar their mind enough so that they could resume their Spiritual Practice from past lifetimes. I wanted to make things more efficient for them. This work was something that might repay the kindness of so many.
Personally, I had found a work by Gampopa, The Jewel Ornament of Liberation, that did just that for me; and, so, I wanted to do something for those former students of mine from past lifetimes, who are all great practitioners, many who have been reborn in the West. My venue is Western Culture; so, here it is, something that appears to be quite strange to the deluded world around us.
Please find benefit in my work. Find confidence. If I can be a Spiritual Practitioner, then so can you.
Blessings in Light,
Lama Robert
