Welcome to the first issue of the Timeless Luminosity newsletter!
In this newsletter you will find insights relating to Near Death Experiences, Existential Issues, Our Real Condition of Light, Rebirth, Spiritual Practice, Buddhism, Dzogchen, as well as Cultural and Scientific perspectives that can, hopefully, help us discover what we are all about. Much of this newsletter addresses questions people bring forth. This question about what life means can only be answered if we investigate our birth, life, dreams, how we get sick or old, and what happens when we die, as well as what happens when we are reborn, how all of this happens. We may wonder just what is going on here? We may have questions about what we are, where we’ve been and where we are going. We must begin by looking inwardly at mind. In reality, there are no limitations when we begin to look at mind, as we consider our Real Condition.
Robert Aho began this discussion with his book, Timeless Luminosity, which was inspired by his own Near Death Experience that happened in 2016, as well as a burning desire to help people to discover their own limitless potentiality. The experience brought him directly into the light and back to this life, which was a very long journey indeed. After that he wanted to help people awaken to what is, as it is.
Special Note from the Author:
The deeper intention of writing this newsletter is to bring benefit to people by discussing our Real Condition, that state of amazing light and love we discover every time we die. I know this, because I became that light for an eternity with a Near Death Experience, and I remember this experience in detail. It’s why I came back, to discuss what we already are, the essence of what we already know deep within, to bring benefit to all beings in this way.
You will notice that much of what I write is from a Buddhist perspective. This is intentional, even though I realize that much of my audience has no particular spiritual affiliation or religion. My words are meant to bring benefit from a certain point of view, which I will try to relate to in different ways, from time to time. Buddhism provides a vocabulary that does not need to change in order to discuss vast appearances that may prove problematic with other viewpoints. This is not to say that Buddhism is the only way to discuss the essence of what we are. Quantum physics, many philosophies and religions do a fine job of addressing this to a certain extent. It is simply that Buddhism provides a most precise vocabulary that fits the subject-matter in a better way, especially with the Tibetan Book of the Dead.
Another crucial point to make is that Buddhism is also my background. After a lifetime of searching, from being a Christian, Agnostic and with many other elements of my Spiritual Path, Buddhism revealed a method for discovering Ultimate Reality, beyond any constraints devised by human conditioning. For this, and all of my Path, I am forever grateful. I regard all Spiritual Paths to be sacred and divinely inspired.
With my Near Death Experience, I began at a place that many people regard as the end. I became that amazing intense Timeless Luminosity for an eternity. With my experience, it proved to be the beginning. I was reborn in that light. And, what is really amazing is that we are all born in that light. If only we could awaken, we would discover that this is very true, for all beings, even those who fancy themselves as being in dark places. We’ve never left the Source, or God, or Dharmakaya, whatever you want to call this amazing wisdom beyond belief. We are all that. We are the same love and light, and that is our beginning, as well as this end that cannot be like anything we could imagine. It is beyond all belief, perfect, timeless, as it is.
When we awaken, we become the light. Everything becomes effortless. We realize that this is not the ending, it is home, and we’ve never been away. After all we’ve been through, since beginningless beginnings, what a relief. It should make us laugh when it becomes obvious, when our mind sees clearly at last.
HO HO HO! What an amazing discovery this will be for us all!
Hello, Robert, and many thanks for what you share, the only knowledge that could bring real peace to incarnated beings.
May you please answer this question? Many, as yourself, have spoken about the Dharmakaya, the Timeless Light, as our Self, but others claim to have reached a "no place" which is even beyond the Light, a Void which is the Ultimate Unmanifest Awareness, from which the Light Itself appears. Have you any opinion about this? I´d appreciate any answer
